My daughter's boyfriend plays a newer edition of D&D (5e, I think) and when he and his friends found out I still had a whole box of early D&D stuff they were pretty excited about it, so I agreed to DM a campaign for them. I'm hoping one or more of you who are very familiar with the early 80's 1st Edition AD&D and D&D modules can provide a second critique of a campaign that I've planned out using some of those early modules. Levelling could become an issue but I think I can handle that. So, I've got the story line worked out, but want to make sure I'm not stacking too much of the same type of adventure (hack &slash, role playing, puzzles, dungeon, wilderness, town, etc.) or encounters in a row. I'm not the most creative person in terms of creating a complete homebrew from scratch, but I've always been pretty good at taking existing material and modifying it for my needs.
